This visit marks President Xi’s first trip to India since 2019, signaling a potential thaw in relations between Beijing and New Delhi after several years of strained ties. During the summit, Xi and Modi are expected to engage in bilateral talks aimed at improving the bilateral relations between their countries.
BRICS, which stands for Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa, is positioning itself as a key player on the international stage, particularly for developing nations.
